Program Note

To run around a field of flowers, filled with memories and laughter is a beautiful scene straight out of a movie. But if you experienced it for real, what would it feel like? The complex wash of emotions, thoughts, and colors blend here through sections of longing stasis and polymeter and polytempo to create a journey to a complicated place. This place is different for all of us; just don't forget to eventually wake up and smell the roses and keep living your current life!
