Program Note
November Day challenges one to imagine and interpret the music with its two contrasting sections. The opening presents a mysterious fog that splits briefly to reveal an air of anxiousness with a pulsing ostinato. When the fog returns, a slow walk through calming harmonies recalls a cloudy day one might experience in mid-November. This music seeks to encourage curiosity or to relax the mind.
