Program Note
Painting a modal, melancholic soundscape, Window imagines the colors of the outside world, viewed from inside through a large window. The world outside is rainy and dreary, but still filled with life and love. The various colors and rhythms used throughout aim to alternate between calm and instability, based on a longing for sunshine and company when there is no choice but to dream alone.
