Enfield Air imagines the wind blowing in the sky above the Quabbin Reservoir in Massachusetts. This work functions like an étude: the difficulty level and types of passages of each part differ greatly for two-player study. Formed from the structure of an invention, with a Dorian mode melody and countersubject, the guitars play in contemplative reflection of Enfield, MA. Enfield, which remains mostly submerged today, is one of four towns that was flooded by the state to create a source of more drinking water for Boston in 1938.
