Projections: Reflections In Front, Shadows Behind was the second of a three-concert mini-series titled Human Experiences. Each program delves into an aspect of our lives, this program centering on thematically relevant scenarios and emotions. The 8 pieces for this concert served to bridge Baroque and Classical music to modern, contemporary works for an audience less attuned to contemporary music. Each piece was chosen based upon Connor's own projected associations that related the pieces to concepts of connecting to parts of ourselves that we see and those that we cast away from us, often out of fear or hurt.
