The impact of that one conversation that never happened, the explanations omitted, the apologies neglected, and the gratitude nowhere to be found. It's hard to know why life happens the way it does, even when the results are cruel. It may be hard to accept such circumstances, but we still learn from not only what was said, but what was not. Whether he walked out, passed away, or simply forgot to share a piece of information, the takeaways can be so powerful. What weren't you told?
