Connor and the full ensemble for his concert
Limit
October 16, 2021 in Bowling Green, OH

Connor's concert Limit is inspired by several intersecting concepts related to boundary lines in life. The physical barriers of our world and the ever-expanding boundaries of the greater universe reveal the limits of human activity and knowledge (Expansion, Constellation, Other Worlds). The events of our life can further bring us to emotional limits, such as a breaking point in anger or desperation (Tenparu). The possibility to be wavering back and forth between two parts of life on the edge of growth, discovery, and change are reflected here as well (Liminal, Trails). Even when the world is dark, the sky is gray, and we cannot see that horizon clearly, or reach it, there is still color and beauty that we can see (Window). Finally, the limits of our own life come into question as we reflect on our memories that push us beyond our self-prescribed limits (By The Old Grove).
